Email preferences
Two kinds of email, governed differently. You can switch one of them off in a single click, and the other keeps working because your account depends on it.
Account email
Confirming your address, resetting your password, and project or workspace invitations. This is what makes the account work, so it is sent for as long as you have one. There is no opt-out, and unsubscribing from product updates does not affect it — switching it off would lock you out of your own account. If you registered but never confirmed your address, we may send one reminder with a fresh confirmation link, once per account.
Product updates
Only if you have an account and have signed in at least once. They come in two sorts:
- What has shipped — a note to everyone, built from the same list of changes the changelog shows.
- Tips for where you are — a short message to people at a particular point: you have an account but no project yet; you have a project but have never saved a version; you have not tried AI assistance; a request was refused in the last day because your AI allowance ran out, and what a larger plan gives; a script you saved lists holiday dates that end within 45 days, so the list needs rolling forward; or you have not signed in for 30 days.
To choose who gets a tip we use facts the account already holds — whether you have created a project or saved a version, whether you have used AI, when you last signed in, and the last holiday date in the latest saved version of a project you own. We never read the rest of your script to decide.
How often
- Each message reaches you at most once.
- At most one tip in any seven days. A "what has shipped" note is not counted toward that.
- Nothing to accounts that have not signed in for six months.
- Every send is started by a person here, after a test run — nothing goes out on an automatic schedule.
Stopping the product updates
Any of these stops every product update, both sorts, and takes effect immediately — we record that you asked and when, because we have to honour it:
- The unsubscribe link in the footer of any of them — it opens a page with an Unsubscribe button, so a mail-security scanner that follows links cannot unsubscribe you by accident — or the one-click unsubscribe control your mail app shows in the message header. Both work without signing in.
- The Product update emails switch in the Email section of your Account page in the app, which also turns them back on.
- Emailing hello@ivrloom.com — we will do it for you.
What we do not do
- No tracking pixels, and no per-recipient click tracking.
- The contents of your IVR scripts are never included in an email — our messages contain a link to the app and nothing from your bundle.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your address. See the privacy policy for who processes it on our behalf.
